Hope for Justice Benefit Concert: Thomas Leeb, Jacky Bastek & Alexndr Misko | Kulturwerkstatt Auf AEG | Samstag, 23. März 2019
Hope for Justice is a global non-profit organisation which aims to end human trafficking and modern-day slavery. We found out about their incredible work for the G7th The Capo Company and asked if they and a few of their artists would be interested in putting on an event to help them have an even bigger impact than they already do. On 23 February, we will be joined by 3 of the most incredible artists in the world to support their wonderful cause and raise money so they can continue their mission:
Thomas Leeb, the master from Austria will return to Nürnberg to captivate with his incredible compositions, unbelievable technique and larger-than-life sound. Thomas released his first solo-album when he was 17 years old and since then has performed on stages on every continent except Antarctica. Not only does he stand on the top tier of composers and guitarists, he has helped birth a movement of guitarists, hundreds of whom have passed through his world-famous Acoustic Bootcamp, and has been nothing short of an inspiration as an artist and a human.
Jacky Bastek is a phenomenon. Her compositions, technique and unearthly voice mesmerize every time she steps onto a stage. Jacky has been creating music since she was 6 years old when she first picked up a violin. Since her teenage years, she has been under the wing of the great players in the world such as Thomas Leeb, Jon Gomm and Mike Dawes. She writes incredibly moving music with a skill and style that is far beyond her years.
Alexandr MISKO Guitar is the 21 year old Russian prodigy who has gained worldwide fame with his YouTube channel, and in 2018, began to start touring around the globe. Alexander has absorbed techniques from many of his heroes and found a way to integrate and develop his own style, and create marvelous compositions on his journey towards mastery.
