Showtime Fitness Weight Loss Challenge | The Core Houston | Sonntag, 12. Mai 2019

Welcome to the Showtime Fitness 6 Week Weight Loss Challenge!
They say money is a master motivator, so no "Ra-Ra" speech needed here. This is your chance to get fit and have a chance to win some serious cash in the process! In this challenge, participants will compete to see who can lose the most weight, and to make things fair, we are basing it off of "weight loss percentage." What does that mean? I'm glad you asked! Weight loss percentage is simply the percentage of your starting weight that you have lose. The formula to calculate your weight loss percentage is:  pounds lost divided by starting weight. Then, multiply the result by 100.  
Each week, prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners (official prizes will be confirmed upon registration closing). My hope is that each participant can use this opportunity as extra motivation to jump start their 2019 fitness journey!
INSTRUCTIONS

After registration closes, participants will receive an email explaining how to go about doing official weigh-ins
Each week, participants will receive a weekly motivation email containing cardio recommendations as well as a workout challenge with video tutorials.
On Saturday of each week, participants will be asked to submit an official weigh in. The 3 best weigh results for the week will be awarded the winnings for that week.
Official weigh in must be done in person or submitted via VIDEO ONLY on the same no later then 3:00 PM on Saturday afternoons. Anything submitted after the deadline WILL NOT be accepted.

 
WEIGHT LOSS PERCENTAGE EXPLAINED

John starts off at 200lbs
John finishes the week at 195lbs.
John has lost 5lbs. 
5lbs is 2.5% of 200lbs
2.5% is John's "Weight Loss Percentage" for the week.
The following week, John's starting weight will be 195lbs.

 
YOU ARE NOT ON YOUR OWN
To even the playing field, the following will be provided for all contestants

Meal guidelines and tips to help you understand what type of foods to eat, and how much
Workout recommendations for cardiovascular exercise
2 "Cardio Blast" workout challenges per week that can be done with minimal equipment. These challenges will be delivered weekly and will give you the opportunity to burn calories in a challenging, but fun way!

 
I know that there can only be one 1st place winner, but I hope that no matter how you place, you are extremely happy with what you have been able to accomplish in 6 weeks. Let The Challenge Begin!
