RDKit/KNIME training at the 8th RDKit UGM 2019 | University of Hamburg | Freitag, 27. September 2019

This workshop will be run on Friday after the main RDKit UGM (the same day as the hackathon).
The workshop is free, but has a limited number of slots available (it's really hard to do a good interactive workshop with too many attendees!). In order to try and manage the capacity problem, we are doing *all* registrations via waiting list. Please sign up by putting yourself on the waiting list; we will let you know ASAP when we have the actual attendees assigned.
More info about the workshop
The RDKit and KNIME: Hands on!
Instructor: Daria Goldmann
In our hands-on workshop you'll learn to build interactive cheminformatics workflows and applications using the RDKit and KNIME Analytics Platform. We'll cover a diverse set of topics such as data manipulation and filtering, descriptors and fingerprints, machine learning and clustering, data set visualization and exploration. After completing this hands-on session you'll have a fully functional workflow and will have learned how to start from scratch to build your own.
In this workshop we will assume that you have basic KNIME knowledge already; you don't need to be an expert, but we won't be explaining things like how to add nodes to a workflow or read and write files.
We will have computers available to use during the workshop, but if you would like to use your own laptop please have KNIME pre-installed when you come. We're happy to provide instructions and some support by email to help you get things set up.
