This workshop is for anyone interested in:


Learning how to still and focus the attention 


Exploring some of the basic principles of consciousness and the mind


Starting or deepening a meditative practice


The focus of this workshop is mainly on working with the balance of attention and awareness to steady the attention and relax the mind. The workshop format consists of short meditative exercises which we will do together followed by discussion. Content is drawn mainly from the faciliators own experience drawing also from the meditative traditions but not following any one tradition. The workshop is suitable both for complete beginners and for those who already have an established meditation practice. The language is English.
The workshop is from 4pm-8pm on Friday 6th September, and from 9am-12pm on Saturday 7th September.
There is no charge for attendance.

About the facilitator: Dr Fergus Anderson is an ***** educator, philosopher and meditation practitioner based in the UK. He is lecturer and course leader at Crossfields Institute, and also an Associate Researcher at IBUGI, Bonn.
